David Nolan is a multi award-winning journalist, producer, director and author.
He's trained journalists across the world in storytelling, directing and interviewing techniques... and managed to find the time to write 15 books too.
Although mainly a global trainer for the BBC Academy and the charity Media Action his background is in commercial TV and radio. This includes 13 years at ITV Granada where he made hundreds of news programmes, current affairs shows and documentaries.

As a visual journalism trainer he's helped set up new newsrooms in Nairobi, trained independent journalists in Ukraine and is one of the few people to work in the Autonomous Territorial Unit of Gagauzia.
His books include the classic punk eyewitness story I Swear I Was There, the first ever biography of Ed Sheeran and the 'Manc Noir' series of crime fiction novels.

'I am the luckiest person you'll ever meet,' he says.
"David is my go to television journalism trainer. He's curated and delivered courses for my trainees and apprentices, bringing his expertise in storytelling and package making in his inimitable style."
